<p style="text-align: justify;">After some time ago scientists at the Indian Institute of Science (Institute of Science India) and Indian Institute of Technology Madras (Madras Indian Institute of Technology) announced the development of a laptop for 10 dollars. According to the Secretary General of Indian Higher Education (Higher Education Secretary), RP Agrawal said the prototype of this laptop is worth $ 20, but this price will fall to $ 10 after mass produced.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Laptop project was first started in TOI three years ago, aims to bridge the gap between what is on the poverty line. This project followed the $ 100 laptop project begun by Nicholas Negroponte from MIT who tried to enter the Indian market (OLPC). $ 10 laptop has completed the design phase of the business thanks to the Vellore Institute of Technology students.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">This mission will expand the computer infrastructure and connectivity to more than 18,000 colleges in the country, including all departments and nearly 400 universities and institutions related to national interests. This mission will focus on procedures for e-learning education, provides the facility of the experiments through virtual labolatorium, online testing, available online for teachers and mentors, and utilization of EduSat and DTH.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">This laptop is shown in Tirupati, India At the National Education Mission through Information And Communication Technology (National Education Mission through Information and Communications Technology) on Tuesday, February 03, 2009 yesterday.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Laptop specifications for approximately $11, &#8211; as well as other PCs. 2GB memory, Wifi and hardware that can be added, operate with low power is 2 watts. However, there has been no report of this laptop using what operating system. But the possibility, this laptop uses a simple Linux-based GUI. as used by the EEE PC.</p>
