Japanese Scientists Make Phone That Can Be Changed to Robot

Japanese people are crazy about robot, to the extent that the phone was made in order to evolve into a robot. Of course not as sophisticated robots that Transformers. One phone immediately released by Softbank Mobile Corp. will probably revive your memory about toy robots that can be changed from the form of fighter aircraft, tanks, or cars into robots.

Phone Softbank 815T PB (PhoneBraver) made at the Toshiba factory was shaped like a phone in general, form the fold with LCD screen on one side and buttons on the other side. The difference, on the right and left can be drawn into two hands and feet.

Mobile robot has been equipped with artificial intelligence software to study the habits of their owners. The phone also seemed to talk with the owner.

“If users call one number over and over again, it would appear sound ‘you called several times today, really?” Said Katsuhida Furuya, spokesman for the Softphone.  The Owners can communicate with a yes or no answer.

The phone has not been able to walk alone like humanoid robots that famous  in Japan. However, the feet and hands and rocked the joint so bent as if alive. The new phone will be released April 2010.
